| Description | The University of Southern California Government Partnerships and Programs is seeking a program assistant who will be responsible for planning, organizing and the delivery of service activities specific to the expansion and development of outreach programs in Government Partnerships and Programs, (GPP). The mission of GPP is to provide educational opportunities and career paths for disadvantaged, low-income and first-generation youth and to enhance outreach partnerships in communities surrounding the university. Responsibilities/Outcomes: - Assist program management with proposal development, budget and marketing program services. - Assist implementation of program goals for creating partnerships in the community. - Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to student workers, graduate interns and volunteers. - Provide coordination of program services with high schools and community-based organizations. - Assist with program, performance goals and measurable outcomes.
