USC Hospitality is seeking an organized, customer service-oriented and personable Assistant Manager for Everybody's Kitchen. As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for hiring, training scheduling and performance managing staff, maintaining costs, generating revenue ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining sanitation standards, security and more. This position will work closely with the managers and culinary team to ensure customer needs are met with genuine customer service and in a timely manner, resolves any customer concerns and maintains cleanliness of dining area. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of the marketing plan to attract new customers and ensure return customers. The Assistant Manager will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of service and overall guest experience that is extended to visitors, students, faculty and staff. The Assistant Manager position will be primarily responsible for directly supervising and scheduling assigned staff in the designated unit. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for conducting opening and closing procedure, managing daily sales figures and performing staff-level work during peak hours.
