The USC Institute for Global Health is a campus-wide focal-point dedicated to enhancing interdisciplinary activities and research related to emerging global health issues. In partnership with faculty and students from schools across the university, the Institute for Global Health fulfills its aim to improve global health by educating future and current global health leaders, carrying out trans-disciplinary research, and assuring that the evidence collected informs policy and practice to make a difference. The Institute for Global Health is searching for an enthusiastic web specialist. Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to: updating and maintaining the IGH website and new media pages; creating promotional materials for our monthly global health lectures and other events; and assisting with the development of interactive educational and promotional materials. The Web Program Specialist should be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about global health issues, responsible, and professional. A significant understanding of content management systems, design, and new media software is required. Future work experience in related field is preferred. The Web Project Coordinator is responsible for managing web projects and developing content for the University of Southern California (USC) Health Sciences entities, including the Keck School of Medicine, USC University Hospital, USC Norris Cancer Hospital, the Doctors of USC medical practice, and various research centers/institutes. Reporting to the Web Development Manager for USC Health Sciences, incumbent will be part of a team of technical and creative professionals overseeing development and maintenance of USC Health Sciences web properties. The Web Development Team has dual reporting to both USC Health Sciences Public Relations and Marketing and also Information Technology.
